Have you ever had a feeling that you were supposed to do something? It could be something that a person said to you, something you heard lever and over, a nudge to do something. This feeling keeps coming back.

You need to pay attention. This is how I feel God leading me to whatever he has planned for me. Sometimes I blurt out and volunteer for something that I had no intention of doing.

So, I’m planning a retreat with the help of some of my friends who also hear the call to step out and serve to carry the message of God to their communities. I hope that we are able to share ways that God has worked in each of our lives so that others will be open to hear what God has for them also.

Sometimes I feel so small and inadequate in the task I feel at hand. But, that’s not God. It’s Satan trying to make me feel small and insignificant. But, I am a child of God, and when I’m weak, he is strong. I call on God to guide my team toward the plan he has for our time together. I know that he will show up in a big way and we’ll feel his presence like never before.

Stepping Out In Faith

I’m so excited to announce our retreat will be on March1-2, Friday, 5:30PM to Saturday, 5:00PM. The Beach Country Retreat in Holton, IN is a great facility. There are 31 beds available for those who want to spend the night.

What will we be doing during the retreat? We’ll have a craft, worship in song and prayer, break bread together, share our hearts, and hear a few people share how they’ve stepped out in faith to follow the path God has laid out for them. 

This retreat is a great time to meet women from all over the area. Last year we concentrated on our own ladies. God blessed our time together in more ways than we could have imagined and we want to offer that same blessing to all women who want to join us.

If you choose to spend Friday overnight, bring your own blanket and pillow. Sheets, towels and washcloths are supplied. Showers and restroom facilities are provided at each end of the building. There are 4 bedrooms at each end of the building as well with a total of 31 beds.

Prices vary depending on how much time you are able to spend with us. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday at no extra cost.

Friday evening will begin with check in and some social time. If you would like, you can bring some snacks to share. Those will be available through the weekend as long as they last. Kitchen appliances, tables and chairs are available. Coffee is provided. Bottled water will be available. 

On Friday evening we’ll be doing a craft: Glass painting: (ie. wine glass, ornament, vase, mug, etc.) Bring your own glass to paint or buy one at the retreat. $2-$3 estimate on those.
