I’m ready to dive back into blogging. My absence has been due to priorities with so many things God has put in front of me. Retreat planning and worship leading being the main things. But, I also took on doing music for an Emmaus walk, which was an awesome opportunity for growth!
I recently have struggled with a detached retina which caused me to step down from everything I was doing. The first surgery didn’t take and I underwent a second surgery which included a cataract removal on December 19, 2025. I’m still in recovery mode, but able to return to some responsibilities now.
I’ve had plenty of time to talk with God about my predicament. Originally I blamed Satan for this attack on the work I’d been doing for God. But, a friend pointed out that God was making me rest! I have an issue with saying no to people. Well, now I’ve not had a choice!

I ‘ve had plenty of time to evaluate my growth in the past few years and my relationship with God. I was putting what I was doing for God before God himself. I now realize how wrong that was! Working on fixing my priorities!
This scripture was my scripture of the day today:
”So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” -1 Cor. 10:31
I’m just going to leave that here today. Maybe you need the same reminder I needed!
For God’s glory,
Pam
