Faith Over Fear

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. -Psalm 56:22

It’s a crazy time we live in. Easy to succumb to the panic and paranoia going on in the world because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spring time has just begun and we should be feeling refreshed at the new life springing up around us. Instead, we’re quarantined, self-isolating, whatever you want to call it.

God is still in control. We have to remember His promises and know that this will all work out to the good. For so long we have felt complacent in a world that is becoming more and more comfortable with evil. We have abandoned the ways laws that God gave us to live by. We’ve sat by and allowed people to wipe His holy name out of our lives by forbidding prayer in school, taking it out of the pledge of allegiance. What did we expect?

Sometimes to wake up from complacency it takes a rude awakening. God is real and he’s giving you every chance to repent and accept him into your life. He wants for all of to be saved, but it takes a commitment. My prayer is that the Church rises to the occasion! This is our finest hour, as my pastor said this past week. I believe that with all my heart. It’s now or never. Show God’s love to those around you. Let them see what a relationship with Jesus Christ looks like and how to find that for themselves.

We are have a virtual service this week and until further notice. I invite you to see what Milan Christian Church in Milan, Indiana is all about. Visit our Facebook page or our website and learn more.

Stay safe. Don’t take chances. Love on your family and pray.

In Faith,

Pam
