In this desert we’ve been in for the past 2 years, it’s easy to keep our focus on the darkness that had settled in around us. But, it’s time to do a new thing!
18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:18-19
This is how God reminds us that he’s been faithful to us in the past. But now he’s doing something different and he wants us be aware of it.
What is God telling you that he wants you to do differently?
It’s time to walk out of the desert. Time to quit wallowing in darkness and time to see the light! God is doing a new thing and he wants you to be a part of it. Proclaim the Good News!
How can you be a part of this movement in your own neighborhood? Share your faith story with others. Our walks with God are each unique. Some of us have grown up in the church and it’s been a way of life. But when did you feel that it was more than just going to church on Sunday?
Others have walked a path much different. Maybe it was littered with self doubt and disregard for any thought of a Creator or Savior. But that doesn’t mean you have no hope. God chose you before you were born. There is still time to choose him as long as you’re still breathing. But don’t put it off because none of us know what day will be their last.
In Faith,
Pam
