Have you ever felt like God is telling you something and you’re not quite sure why? Well this scripture showed up again this morning!
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
In the past week, this scripture has shown up in my Bible studies at least 5 times, a friend sent a scripture to me that included this verse as well. While I was researching about a song we were doing in church yesterday, this was the scripture the song was written around. Then this morning as I began reading the devotional for Christine Caine’s Bible study entitled Unashamed, there it was again! This time not quoted as scripture, but it meant the same thing.
“When God moves in and you give Him full access to your soul, He heals your soul with His presence and allows it to flourish. When God moves in, we move on. Because we’re able to. Without Him, we cannot do it. We will inevitably become weary and run out of steam. It is God’s power that is made perfect in our weakness, not our own.”
I think today is going to require some serious meditation on this verse, because I don’t want to miss why He keeps sending this verse to me.
You all have a blessed week!
In Faith,
Pam
